This week we said goodbye to our three fabulous interns from the University of Technology, Sydney. Genevieve, Alexis and Estelle were certainly hands-on during their internships. They organised a video shoot, a photo shoot, and helped launch the Sydney pop-up. We will continue to work with all three, plus a fourth student, Lily, as Kusaga Athletic has been selected by UTS to lead a Capstone Project for the BCII students. In case you’re wondering, BCII stands for a Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation.
If there’s one thing that puts a smile on our faces at Kusaga Athletic, it’s hearing your stories about why you chose to buy our garments. This week, we had a mail from a customer in the US. She placed her order after her oldest granddaughter – who lives in Denver, Colorado – ‘recommended your environmentally-friendly fabric. She plans to save the planet with her choice of garments, food, etc.’ Thanks Marita for the feedback, and thanks Marita’s granddaughter for your commitment to Planet Earth.
It’s a similar message coming through at our bricks-and-mortar pop-up in Sydney. We get a lot of passing traffic up the famous (or infamous) Oxford Street, and we love that the signage to #buybetter draws people in. If you’re in Sydney, we’re here until the end of April. Stop by and say hello, we’re a friendly bunch. 82 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst.
And finally, if you’re looking for a bit of reading this weekend, take a look at our story online at Run4YourLife.
